My daughter was travelling alone heading back to Rockford when the oil light in her 2014 Subaru came on. She stopped at 1 Stop Auto Shop to see about getting some oil added. Not only was she taken care of quickly, she was taken care of in the most professional manner. To top things off, she wasn't charged! I guess there really are more good people out there.
Recently had an unexpected problem with my daughter's car while we were out of town, 1Stop was recommended by a nearby local. These guys had everything we needed, were friendly and very helpful. They helped turn a bad day around and got us in and out of the shop in a very short time and without feeling taken advantage of ! Wish they were my local shop, if you find yourself near 1 Stop and needing service, I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Staff is friendly and knowledgeable on all your customer needs I would recommend it for all your needs tires ect they go out of there way to please
I took 2 vehicles to this shop at various times recently. I dropped a van off needing a bearing replaced. They told me the problem was something else. They fixed what they thought the problem was, but when I picked up the van it was still making the same weird noise. I returned it, and they still didn't believe me the bearing was bad. After having someone ride in the car with me, it took only a few seconds for the technician to say I was right... the bearing was going out and needed fixed. I had a similar experience with my other car making a weird noise. They replaced some parts and charged hundreds of dollars. I picked up the vehicle, and it was still making the weird noise, so I brought it back a 2nd time. They charged hundreds of dollars and replaced more parts. I picked it up, and it was still making the same noise. I brought it back a 3rd time, they charged more, a total now of $2500 for this car, and they replaced more parts. I picked it up, and it was making a worse, louder noise than when I first attempted to have it fixed. I will not go back.
Please avoid them at all costs. Save your money and your sanity. Go across the street to Pat's garage in Sherman, Law Automotive in Springfield or anywhere but One Stop in Sherman. Sherman is filled with people who have had horrible experiences. Don't believe the 5 star reviews from friends of the owner that suddenly popped up on their FB page the day we complained and threatened legal action against him.
One Stop also known as Five stop in Sherman has struck again. After having problems with struts, ball joints and mysteriously needing an entirely new engine (long story involving the police, disappearing struts, lying mechanics, owners and an engine that all of a sudden has zero oil resulting in an undriveable car.)...after visiting One Stop for all of this sketchy work we decided to have their work inspected by a professional mechanic. We went to a reputable shop and without any prompting they inquired if somebody else had done work on the struts and ball joints. We confirmed that One Stop had done work on our car. One Stop had stripped out a bolt on the control arm and it was extrememly dangerous to be driving it around this way. So glad we had One Stop's shoddy work inspected.
