Nice little restaurant. Food is terrible and over priced. Everything has some strange ground beef mixture in it or on it. It absolutely ruins any chance at a remotely decent tasting meal. Beans were very bland. Rice was dry and flavorless. Overall very disappointed with restaurant choice. Wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy
If you could vote a Mexican restaurant by their chips alone, I would vote Cancun. The restaurant itself is a little tired. It looks dated and worn. The food is still great however. Most of the servers are very attentive and kind as well.
This has been our go-to Mexican restaurant for nearly twenty years. After moving from southern California it was the only thing in the Springfield area that compared to the mom and pop restaurants we were used to.
I usually go for the margarita special on Tuesday and Thursday but my friends love the food too.
Food and margaritas were good, but a bit on the pricey side.
